Pharmacy Practice Residency
General Information
Thank you for your interest in our pharmacy practice
residency program. Our ASHP
accredited residency program allows flexibility and diversity designed to help
our residents enhance clinical skills, develop managerial knowledge, and advance
oral and written communication abilities.
The North Chicago VA Medical Center pharmacy
department is affiliated with and holds co-funded faculty positions with
Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy. Residents have the
opportunity to co-precept students in the following rotations: acute medicine,
ambulatory care, long-term care, psychiatry and advanced hospital pharmacy
practice.
