Visitor Information
Visits by relatives and close friends of patients are encouraged because of
the therapeutic value in maintaining family ties and continued contact with the
environment outside the medical center.
Visiting hours for all wards are 11:00AM to 8:00PM daily except for inpatient
Domiciliary programs. Each program has established policies concerning visiting
hours. Please check with the program staff.
Visiting hours for the intensive care unit are 24 hours a day, not more often
than hourly, visits limited to 10 minutes, immediate family members only, two at
a time.
Visitors are expected to adhere to the established visiting hours; however,
family members of patients on the Seriously Ill list may visit at any time with
the approval of the treatment team.
Only two visitors will be permitted to visit a patient's bedside at one time.
Generally, children under 15 years of age may not visit patients on the wards
without prior approval by the treatment team and charge nurse.
