Volunteer Opportunities
VA Voluntary Service's mission is to provide a quality VA Volunteer Program
that is both effective and efficient in providing support to medical center
services and patients through community outreach efforts.
Over 400 volunteers served the medical center and its patients this year in
areas such as Recreation, the Disabled American Veterans Transportation Network,
Chaplain Service, Nursing, the Canteen, Prosthetics, Health Administration
Service, Housekeeping, Laboratory, and Voluntary Services. Volunteers
served an average of 3,000 hours per month in FY05.
